HAve a question for you.

IS it possible to subsitute EAD from two companies which are filing 485?

Explanation:

I have filed 485 through company A... While 140 is pending through company B.

Get EAD from Company A... and start using it.

Seven to eight months later... 140 of company B is approved. file for 485 through company B while withdrawing 485 from company A...

Substitute EAD of company A with EAD of company B...

Is this technically possible. what downside risks do u forsee?

You cannot have 2 485s pending for the same primary applicant. You might be in trouble. Please read up chat transcripts of Murthy.com for the past 2 months. There are many nuances explained in her answers. May be you ought to convert the second petition as CP.

The first EAD itself entitles you to work for the 2nd employer without any problem, why you need to apply for EAD with the 2nd employer too?
