Possible 140/485 Issues - Need Help

Hi ,

I am an H1b guy in my 6th year, with 1 labor each filed by previous and current employer before my 6th year started.

If I am in a lab subst case(which has a PD:2001 Nov, to be filed in TX), if my 140 is rejected (as my edu qualificated and exp donot fully match), and the 485 consequently denied?, what will happen to my H1 status:

1. While my h1 status be intact?
2. Will any subsequent 485 filing be affected by this 485 being denied?
3. Will any subsequent 140 filing be affected by this 140 being denied?
4. Woudl it be better to work on 140 alone first ?

Need your valuable inputs as I am trying to see fi I can file 140 and 485 before sept 2005 to avoid retrogression, but I dont wan tto take unnecessary risk...

Thanks in advance,
rmx

-------------- you are eligble to file 7th year H1 extension based on LC pending evidence of more than 365 days

---------- YES, if you have valid H1
2. Will any subsequent 485 filing be affected by this 485 being denied?
--no

---No

------ that is upto you.if your edu qualificated and exp donot fully match why to use that LC??? FYI you need to have same education, experirnce BEFORE that LC was filed. I will not use that LC
