I was approved for an H1B in March 2003 and my Approval notice says its valid from March 2003 to Sept 2005. My stamping in New Delhi was put on hold due to some administrative checks on my company and never heard back from the embassy. I then entered USA on an F-1 Visa for my MBA in Aug 2004. I found a new employer who has filed for new H1-B on 1st April 2005 for 2006 Quota. Will, I be subjected to the Quota or not. I was never on H-1 Status before(I am only on F-1). I would appreciate you help.
