Hey y'all,

my oath will be in about two weeks and I have questions about the things I need to bring with me to the oath ceremony. On the oath letter (Form N-445), it states to bring:

the letter itself
green card
reentry permit or refugee travel document (not applicable to me)
any Immigration documents you may have (like what?)

Are you allowed to bring a video camera with you to the oath ceremony (mine will be inside a federal district court room) and film the ceremony? How about a regular camera?

Thanks y'all.

Come on. Even I had a few of them (AP/EAD) when I naturalized. I did not surrender them, just trashed them later. Whether they were valid is another question.

I thought the CIS took away the EAD from you when you got your green card...at least for me

Assuming you had only one EAD ... did they take away my 1st EAD when they issued 2nd one. I doubt it, though my memory has faded on this aspect.

Do they call your old name or new name at the ceremony? Mine will be at a court room.
