Student Visa Question About Marriage!!

Hello all!!

Now before I ramble on please hear me out, I in no way am asking how to fraudulently obtain a green card. I'm active duty Air Force and am stationed over in South Korea. I'm a law abiding citizen of the US. Now that being said me and my girlfriend have been dating for 9 months, of course I had to follow the slow and cuirtious courting stage that her father requested so I did but now were faced with the issue of marriage before I leave here. I leave in Feb 2012 and there is no way all the proper forms can be approved in time since I would have to go through the military side of it as well as the USFK side. Now this may sound absolutely looney but the only way for us to get married in a non-timely manner would be by her obtaining an F-1 Visa. Then eventually getting married properly and changing her status. Now I don't want a bunch of "oh that's fraud" because I'm sure that some of you faced the same options at the end of the road. Now its either get married in a rush and leave and have her file the majority of the paperwork or just file an F1 and have her come to the states and then marry eventually. Is this crazy? It just seems that it's the only way to not pressure her parents into allowing her to run off and get married immediately. I can't extend my stay here since I passed my eligibility period 10 months ago. Yes if I would have known I would have extended. I do wish I could get advice from someone in the military because I'm sure that someone on these forums have done exactly what I'm proposing. As I stated before I'm not attempting to give access to an immigrant for an unlawful cause I just want to spend the rest of my life with this one woman and need advice on how to go about it "properly". I do understand you guys can't give me direct advice pertaining to this but please whatever can be provided please do inform me of it.

Thank you very much

On Wed. Aug 10, 2011, USCIS issued a Memo on this topic. IF you just go ahead and get married, you can get through the process in time to meet your deadline in Feb 2012. Your situation is specifically covered. Print out the Memo, read it and take it to the JAG Office and ask for help.
