Stuck In Name check Since Dec 2001

Hi,
I'am stuck in name check since Dec 2001 , I have marriage case since April 2001, We had Interview in Sep 2003 every thing was fine other then answer from FBI namecheck, Immigration officer told us we will receive letter in mail about case, Since then I'am waiting for my background/name check. Contact Senator and congressman nothing happened.

Plz need a advice,

Contact them again. Keep bugging them until you see some movement.

you are a perfect case for filing Writ of Mandamus. you can search the forum for the steps. good luck!

im_2001 you need to get going man... don't wait for things to happen beause they will not occure just like that.

I have been in the FBI name check status for 2 yrs now. I will be filling a Writ of Mandamus in the next few weeks.

I already contact Mandamus office, Nothing happend only thing I recevie USCIS letter with same reason they waiting on background check...........? Same old same BS
