Stuck in Name Check? PLEASE READ ON ...

Guys and Gals,

I see a lot of immigrants suffering due to "Name Check" issues. At this time I am not sure if my case is stuck in Name Check but I have been keeping a close tab on a lot of threads that deal with Name Check issues. I have saved all these threads and have decided to post a link to these threads so people can read up on this issue, get informed and make the right decision. Name Check Status phone # no longer available

Hey Y'all - I just called the FBI name check phone number and the nice lady at the other end of the line said that the phone number was discontinued, and that the e-mail service was no longer in use since they had over 7000 e-mails!!!

How are people supposed to check and see if their name has been cleared??
 
Same happens to me too, thats why I created another thread to see if we can get some latest phone numbers or email id, but I did not get any reply. I am trying to get some info by reading fbi and related web sites.

I called local FBI and the duty agent was very nice, but he said he does not have access to the info. I will have to try another local office.

Please post if you get any info.
 
I had requested this posting in a different forum to be made sticky. No one seems to take notice!
 
There are a lot of problems with the processing system , name check , files left behind or lost , moving files around from a place to another place , how we know what they doing there if they don't know what they are doing ???!!!
It is sad , but in the end we all have to deal with this !!!
Hopefully they wake up and do the things right !!!
