My current status is:

I485: Still no word on this.
2nd AP: Lawyer received 2 and a half weeks ago. Mailed in request first week of May.
2nd EAD: Received in mail on Monday (08/20/2001). Also mailed in request first week of May.

That\'s it.

I guess TSC going by PD Not ND. What do u think?
Applied 2nd ED/AP 2months ago. No receipt for that.

Not by PD. I think there is a recent trend on approvals
based on expiry of finger prints. Other than that, they
are quite random.
 
I485, 2 EAD, 2 AP UPDATE

I485 - ND Aug 2000 -> No word yet
2 EAD and 2 AP - ND Jun 18 and 19th respectively -> No word yet

Filed my 2 EAD on May 20th and 2 AP on July 21 st, received only the receipts of EAD.

No receipts number for AP and no approvals for both yet. It really taking very long.
 
2\'nd AP approved.

Approval date: 08/28/01 (for SRC#01225XXXXX). INS send AP to my attorney.
Waiting for EAD approvals.
 
2\'nd EAD approved.

As per AVM, 2\'nd EAD has been approved on 09/12/01.
Message has changed to card has been ordered ...
Looks like TSC was working on 09/12 while the local INS was closed.
No news on 485 front.

Update

I talked to IIO on 09/17 and she mentioned that my case has been
assigned to an officer on 09/14. Same report has been posted by
ohboy in this forum with RD=08/00 who called IIO on 09/12.
Hopefully, they have started working on cases beyond 06/00?

Interesting. I hope they are giving you guys correct info, as my RD=07/00 and ND=08/00.

I actually faxed TSC (as the INS web site says this is TSC\'s preferred method of inquiry) regarding the status of my I485 on the morning of September 10. No response yet, but I imagine that the terrible events on September 11 put a slow down on many things.

I\'ll let you guys know if I hear anything regarding my fax.

I just got my I485 approvals (copy). I guess TSC is moving.
MY SRC # --> SRC-00-233-XXXXXX.
ND: 7/00
AP: 9/01

Folks Good news about my 2nd EAD !!

Hi All,

I check the AVM it says my 2nd EAD had been approved and they orderd for EAD cards and they will mail it to us as soon as it is ready. I am still waiting on my AP though, and I do not even have the receipts number for them yet. Keep posted with your info.

   It is better to call INS than to send a FAX. They generally
   do not reply to the FAX. Even if they do, they will not
   provide the details that you are seeking like is the case
   with an officer. Try calling from 7:40 AM CST on or late
   in the noon.
   Is TSC processing by EAD renewals?
   I have noticed this trend based on postings here and in ISN.
   Maybe its just my imagination.
