Strange way VSC works

Hi All
Today I got AP for both myself and wife . But still yet to receive Receipts of I-485,EAD & AP. MD 9/20/01 checks encashed on 11/21/01 .

Can\'t understand the way VSC works thought will receive Receipts Firsts and then AP & EAD. but received AP first.

since it is valid till 11/19/2002 it may have been approved on 11/19/01 since it is valid for 1 yrs .
 
I\'ve got EAD, but no receipt or AP

Our 485,EAD and AP applications were filed mid September (don\'t know the exact date, the attorney mailed it out). We received EADs on Nov. 26 but have not seen the receipt for 485. I called INS and was told that my case was entered in the system on Nov. 13. (I\'d have to assume the notice date on the 485 receipt is no later than that.) When I called the AVM using the EAC number on the EAD card, it said the EAD was approved on Nov.22. My attorney said INS is so upside down at this time that he won\'t be surprised if the receipt takes another month to arrive. Anyway, slow as it is, apparently they are working on September applications. Hang in there everyone.

MD 7/20/2001, ND 11/15/2001 , RD - waiting for the receipt.
AP approved on 11/20/2001 , AP received on 11/24/2001 and valid till 11/19/2002.
