Strange thing with EAD..

Hi All--
I applied 140/485/EAD/AP on Jan 9 2004. Since the EAD processing date was Jan 20 2004 last week, I happened to
check the EAD status but it hadn't changed from the original
message. On the other hand, when I use the customer logon,
the last updated date on both EAD and AP is April 23 2004, around the same time the processing date for EAD was updated.
Since most of my friends around Jan 9 2004 have already received their EAD in the mail, I am contemplating if I should wait
anymore or try to get an interim EAD. I bet they won't give it to me, apparently my employer contact was telling me that if they are not satisified with the docs for 485 application, they won't issue EAD/AP. is this true? Can I call USCIS and put a case check on it?

can anyone clarify?

I think I am in the same boat. My case was also touched on 23 april but no change in status message but wife's AP/EAD got approved aroud same time. Strange...

What is your attorney saying?
