Hi Guys,

On December 30th, after long intermittant rains, the ceiling of my apt caved in and finally fell down.

Now, my apt management has shifted me to another apt temporarily (same complex). As I told them about my worries for having to change my address with INS while my 485 is pending (in advance stage, i.e. RFE response submitted pending approval), apt management has agreed to let me keep my old mailbox.

Now my question is that even though I'll have access to both old and new mail boxes and can keep my old address with BCIS and credit card companies, but, there are some utilities like phone, electricity etc. where I'll have to change to the new address.

Please guide me if this could pose any problem with my process, should I go ahead and change address with BCIS or keep the old address (as the new one is only temporary).

Thanks

Are you going to move back to the old appartment when it gets fixed? If you are, then you don't have to do the change of address thingy.

If you are permanently moving to the new appartment, then just go ahead and change it.

Thuklark,

Jeee...roof caved in????

I see that you live in Michigan - please let us know the name, so that we can be careful not to choose this complex.
