strange situation, anybody knows?

hi, everyone, i have sent my i-90 to VSC for about 2months and 20 days, i-90 case status is still not changed, (we receive ur application on may 10, and mail u a receipt, it will take .....blah, blah) but i find an LUD yesterday, it is my I-181 CREATION OF RECORD OF LAWFUL PERMANENT RESIDENCE . it says on July 26, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card, your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready. i have not received any response of the i-90, does that mean they make another card for me or what? or maybe they just reapproved my i-181 again by mistake, anybody who knows this kind of situation, please reply! thank you !

------- you did file I-90 with VSC becase your card had error and you sent I-90 with your actual Crd (that had error) and supporting documents to VS as your I-485 was approved by VSC
you got the I-90 filing reciept
now you noticed LUD and online status shows "it says on July 26, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card, your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready."
it simply means they approved I-90 and they are going to send the new Card
Total time 2month 20 days for update
you may get your new card in 10-15 days


It will help others if you provide the below info:
* What was the error on Card?
* The date I-90 sent
* Date receipt of I-90 filing received

* What supporting documents you sent with form I-90
* After sending I-90 to VSC with incorrect Card did they sent notice to go for Biometrics? If yes how many days it took to get that notice for Biometrics after sending I-90

but the LUD is not for the i-90 receipt, that was my old i-181 receipt number, the i-90 online status is still pending,that's why i am confused.
here is my situation:
first name misspelled on GC, for example: my first name is ABC, on the card shows ACB, so i sent the card with form i-90 back to the VSC, support ducuments: copy of form i-485 first page, copy of receipt of i-485 from VSC, and copy of my PP first page, that is.(ACTUALLY THAT'S MY LAWYER PREPARED ALL THESE DOCUMENTS)
got a receipt for i-90 dates 5/10/06,
i-181 LUD 7/26/2006, shows CO.
no Biometrics appointment.
HOPE THIS CAN HELP.
I WILL UPDATE IF I RECEIVE NEW CARD.

i received my new corrected card in today's mail, what a big relief! so my extra loooooog GC journey is finally over!!
this forum is so helpful. i just want thank you all you guys and wish the best for all of you!
i-90 processing took me 80 days, it's not too bad.
 
I recieved my GC in February but with error in it. My last name was mispelled. I filed form I-90, enclosed the Card w/. error and supporting documents.[ passport, birth certificate, I-551 stamp page, and initial application reciept]. After, I recieved a I-90 reciept with a new reciept number. All along, I have been checking the status of my case using the new I-90 number. On July the 26, I recieved the corrected GC. I checked the online status which still read' we recieved your I-90 application on..... we sent you a notice.... It will take ....days to process your Card. I carefully checked the GC and found that the SRC number on the GC is the original reciept number given to me from the begining. They have not changed the online message yet I have a new Card free of any error. I think when processing the I-90 application, they go by the original 485 application reciept even though they issie a new I-90 reciept number-my thought. I am so happy to have received my Card after 6full months. :) :)
 
To nozid, my reciept date read March 7. The TSC recieved my application actually on March 06 but the reciept date of print was March 07. I hope this helps. Thank you.

"I am so happy to have received my Card after 6full months."
Sent I-90 March 6 and got corrected Card On July the 26 I think you got card in less than 6 months :D
 
Ginnu,sorry for wrong info. I actually had to physically count on paper from Mar 07 to Jul 26. That's about 41/2 months. Anyway am glad to have recieved my Card. Some times it feels like years when you are waiting for this dear Card. Blessings. :) :)
