Dear all,
I have a RFE question. here is my details:
-EB3/other/VSC
-PD: 02/00
-RD: 02/22/01
-ND: 03/02/01
-FP: 08/01
-AVM changed from "case not found" to the standard: 11/24/01
-AVM changed from standard to "on 12/27/01, a notice has been sent to you requesting more evidence": 12/27/01
-Received the RFE from law firm: 01/10/02 (major applicant\'s medical record/shot record due to doctor\'s mess up)
-Replied RFE the same day to the law firm: 01/10/02
-AVM changed from RFE to "on Jan. 16th, we received the evidence... it usually takes around 365 to 540 for this kind of case. HOWEVER, SINCE THE PRELIMINARY PROCESS HAS BEEN COMPLETED, IT USUALLY TAKES 540 DAYS TO PROCESS THIS KIND OF CASE. WE WILL MAIL YOU A WRITTEN NOTICE ABOUT THE DECISION ON YOUR CASE": 01/16/02
My question is: since the preliminary process has been completed, why it still takes 540 (not even 365) days to approve ? Is this a normal RFE message ? Usually how long will it take after VSC got my RFE ? Anyone with similar experiences, please post your ideas/responses. Thanks in advance.
