strange response letter from VSC

Did they tell you it is name check pending? I also called this morning, and they onlt told me I was pending for security checks, but wouldn't say if it's FBI name check. They claimed they couldn't disclose details about security checks.

I just called VSC and was told my NC is still pending.
So I think LUDs and phone message change doesn't mean anything.

I didn't ask them specifically. They just told me it is pending in security check they send to FBI.

Assur, i thought the fees for EAD and AP are OUR cost and THEIR revenue.

Yes, our's fee their profit. How long will it go? No one knows. USCIS knows better.

called up VSC today...

Today I had called up VSC and spoke with a nice lady about my pending 485. She told that it's under officer's review and also told me that the file is moving on.

By the way, my telephone status message also says that FingerPrint review is completed,but not my online message.

I'll keep you guys posted on the updates.

When did you find that your phone message was changed to our review of the figerprints? Do you know when was your FBI name checks completed?

I've noticed the phone message change, only when I called up the VSC yesterday. I don't know when FBI name check was completed, but I see a LUD on 09/28/2006 on my case and my spouse's.

I don't think the change in the phone message has any significance. I too noticed that the message changed to "...FP review complete.." recently, but when I called VSC today, I was told security check a.k.a. name check is still pending.
