Strange Policy

Cubans

It is a long holding policy; given the spanish note element in Florida and in general in the US, we will see more of this. Incidently, the current USCIS director came from Cuba some 25-30 years ago, under a mass migration at the time ("EL PEDRO or something..posted this earlier)

Now you see how lucky we are !!

First we get it even though it not our right.

Second we get it in 1/4 of thier time(5 years instead of 20 years).

:D :p

Its all about

voting numbers and lobbying.

There are many politicians who will make all illegals legal if its in their favor. Reagan did it.

Now you have to get the cigars somehow dont ya?? ;)

There is an idea. Why don't we all go to Cuba and then come on a boat back to the US and apply as illegal aliens for citizenship. This might be faster than applying for the citizenship 5 years down the road. Imagine the backlogs if all the GC holders now apply at that time.

Freedom to Cubans!

May be someone in the State department thought it would be easy to give freedom to cubans by bringing them to US after so many years of trying to overthrow Castro! May be next year they will increase the quota to 200,000.:D

pachai_attai, you could be right....that's why they are reducing H1 quota..trying to get rid of L visas...etc...etc.

In future "legal immigration" will be illegal!!!
