Hi All,
Last week I got the email that my greencard was approved. Earlier this week I received the physical card.
Today I got a letter from the lawyers, they forwarded the approval that was sent to them, and included a cover sheet saying I had to go to the INS office with 2 photos, my passport and my I-94. My understanding is that while you CAN go to the office to get a greencard stamp, you only do that if you need to travel before you get the physical card.
Since I already have my card, can I just disregard the foolish lawyers? They have been disorganized all along, and even told me to register for selective service, and I am nowhere near 18-26. I think I may have just gotten a form letter that doesnt apply to me.
Any thoughts?
