Strange email after GC is Approved

Response to Strange email after GC approved

I also got an email for my wife as below, followed by a letter in mail. My wife's GC had already been approved and received. I am now waiting for a second GC for her (but not a second wife). pc2k2@yahoo.com
"This case has been approved. On May 3, 2005, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283."

About strange messages

Guys-
Do not get much stressed up in the negative.
Even earlier times this happened (see the board previous postings)some where.
This may be mostly due to incosnsistency in updating the sequence of proper 'Status' messages(by a contractor?).Instead of next message they might have posted first message again.
Some time ago,After my spouse's green card stamp the message said- 485--received your FPs,processing resumed,it takes .blah days.She got her plastic card in two weeks .After 3 weeks the status says 485 approved !
wait for a few days.
