Strange Case Status Change of I131

It's surprising for me when checking my I131 petition status on line today,it says "your resubmit has been received on 10/14/03,the processing time of this case will be 440 ays.......",but I never resubmitted my petition!The receipt date of my petition is 05/13/03,which already exceeds FIVE months.

Oh!It's so interesting!When I write this message and want to find the exact wording BCIS says it changed again:

"On October 16, 2003, the document we made based on the approval or registration of this case was mailed directly to the person to whom issued".

It's funny!How would they do so?Before getting the updated message I still wonder whether this is because of starting to use the new edition of travel document.

Has anybody the same experience?

I am very glad to hear that your case has been approved and you will receive your RTD soon. At least the BCIS is actually processing 1-131 applications.

I called the BCIS yesterday, the representive told me that the processing time for 1-131 is about 5 months. Eventhough, the 1-131 form mentioned that the RTD can be mailed to US consulates outside the US, she mentioned to me that we have to travel with our refugee travel document.

Can you post an update on the forum once you receive your RTD?

I'll post the information when I receive the travel document as there are many friends concerning this issue as whether it'll be a different one.
 
Tranvel Document Received!

Hi,everyboday,

I just received my travel document today.It is still the old edition with blue cover and valid for one year.Nothing changed.

After waited for 5 months, you finally received it. Congratulations. And thanks for keeping the forum members informed
