Strange Automated Voice Message for RFE receipt

Hi,

I sent in my RFE papers (employment letter and a bank letter) last week, and checked the status yesterday. The message said,

"On Nov 7, we received your response to our RFE. It is taking between 365 and 540 days for us to process this kind of case. However because preliminary processing was complete before we requested the additional material, the remaining processing time for this stage of your case is approximately 180 days. You will receive a written decision on this case."

Anyone has any idea what this means? Does this mean they denied my application?

My details: EB3 PD: 5/96 RD: 8/99 ND: 9/99 FP: 8/00 RFE 10/00

Don\'t worry. That is a kind of standard response that I have heard from friends. Definitely it does not mean that they denied your application.

This is a standard message. This message will change to "This case has been approved on...." soon. Hang in There. Mine was approved in 12 days. I had the same RFE message as u had.
