Hang in there. Hope you get your approval soon. Trying to contact the senator might be a good idea for you. In Texas (as you probably know already) the senators are Sam Johnson and Kay Bailey Hutchison. Most old cases are now being taken up for review or so it seems, so perhaps your turn will come soon too. Best of luck.
 
For EB3 it takes anytime between 2 and 3 months after 2nd FP ...

...to get approved. It\'s a matter of only a few more weeks.

My case is similar to yours and was approved in Jan 2002.
