Espresso you and I have the same timing table but I hope we will celebrated our victory soon I promise you that so meanwhile just keep your hope higher than ever :)
 
Date Backed for more than one year??

Hey Lacoste,
If you have been approved in sept 2005, how comes that you are mentioning to apply for Citizenship in 2008? I am just curious. Was the date on you GC backed more than one year? I am an asylee and was told that USCIS can just back the "resident since:" date for just 1 year if you are lucky. Please reply. Thanks.

i cant understand how you are eligible for citizenship on 2008,

if you got approved on sep 2005, i think your card is backdated one year
unless its backdated 2 years,

iam looking forward for your answer

Lacoste is not approved yet!!!..His dates are assumption. he is married to a U.S Citizen so he is thinking he will get his Citizenship in 3 years..

I'm getting married to a US citizen. so i can apply for citizenship 3 years after my GC approval date? if yes why is that so?
