Still waiting with 2nd FP in 08/2004

All those who gave their 2nd FP in Aug 2004, please reply to see if our files have been looked at, etc. Thanks!
 
To make u feel better,

I've been waiting since 2nd FP in 06/2004. Nothing has happened,
except LUD change on the 2nd FP. My RD is 09/2004. Wrote
to Senator 2nd time in December and they came back saying "USCIS
is now processing files prior to May 2002", even worse than the 1st
time when they told me that my file is still in the security area for review.
What can I do? This wait is testing my patience to the maximum,
but reading that some people with Jan 2002 RD are still waiting,
I am afraid that my turn is still long way to come yet.

It is amazing how farmers work in NSC. I contacted my Senater Dick Durbin, the guy told me in Sept 2004 that my file is ready to be given to officer and last month, he said that they are processing 05/02 and I have to wait until the current processing date is current. It is a shame that old timers have to wait, wait and wait more...
 
I think that your approval is just around the corner.

The reason I am saying this is that you had LUD changes lately.
I also contact Senator Durbin back in 09/2004 and they told
me that my FP and name check have been completed but my file
is still in the security area for review. After 90 days, in 12/2004, I contacted
him again and the letter I got is the same as yours. As someone pointed
out before, Durbin's office probably use a standard template. So I don't
know what to believe and what not to believe. I did get an email
from someone in FBI back in July saying my name check was completed
in Dec 2002 but then again someone on this forum said that sometimes
they do 2nd name check. Overall, I don't know what is holding my case.
No address change, no employer change. The only thing that I can think
of is that I used my AP very actively for travel, Canada, Singapore, China
maybe they are checking if I was ever out of status, which I have not ever
been.

Called my lawyer ,INS couple of times.
Everybody says wait patiently- you will see something soon
Congressman office gave me the same answer - processing 05/2002 cases.

LUD on 12/30 & 1/03/05 and then stopped. one my fried with RD 3/03 told that he had LUD 12/27 & 12/28 and stopped.

Does that LUD mean any thing or they simply indentifying the un adjusted cases at the end of year.
 
Wait4ever,

I think that soon u will change ur name to waitisover. If you
think that they had the time to make LUD change on unadjundiated cases
by year end, u r thinking too much. So how come we didn't get
any LUD change? It simply means that they are working on ur case,
u should be hearing something real soon. Good for u.
