What's going on in VSC..Help me out..My lawer is saying that we have to wait until August 1st week, then that she want to send letter to VSC regarding my I140 case.

I am not sure whether I will get my I-140 or not, Successfully I was finished 360 days

Don't worry!. Have Patience (Wonder How Long!)!. There are people who are waiting for a much longer period. For instance myself.. Waiting from May 2002.

Mine is Feb 22 2002

Hi Guys

Don't worry guys.. I am still there waiting for my I-140 approval from Feb 2002. (I crossed 500 days a week before).
1 year and 5 months passed and nothing happened so far.
I applied for I-485 in Oct 2002 and got my EAD and AP
approved in Dec 2002. No finger print notice so far (almost
10 months passed)
When my attorney called in they were also really surprised by
this long wait. They assured that they will look into the matter.
This was in Mar 2003 !!!. Still nothing happened. My lawyer has gone for Attorney Liaison so that they can inform the
supervisors.

Mine is EB1 - Outstanding Research Category !!!

Anyway I never got anything easy in my life and so
nothing new for me....

I will be happy to know if anybody else still waiting for such a long time.

They are going by I-485 ND .........!!!

I would guess all you guys will get your I-140 approvals when VSC starts working on your respective I-485 ND cases.

This is because some of us believe that VSC is processing the I-140s based on I-485 ND. I still believe that on most cases VSC is following that strategy. Nevertheless, VSC processing is always been a subject of mystery as they approved I-140 cases as late as June '03 (yes... I meant 2003).

If I were you, will worry about I-140 - only if I-485 ND is passed and still your case is untouched.

Thanks for the info. I also heard from people and but I vaguely
remember that this issue appeared in Murthy.com sometime back
pushing ahead the notion of approval based on I-140 ND date.
But from my case and one other case it looks I-140 ND date seems more unlikley but it could be I-485 ND .
That June 2003 case is really weird and sometimes people make fun out of this by letting out unrealistic cases. If they come out with their EAC number then we could confirm.

Looks like I-140 cases applied concurrently are going through
which supports I-485 ND priority.

Let us hope things move faster and with predictable way??

June 20th 2002 here still waiting...

Lets see when I get approved.

As my I-485 date is Nov 2, I think this may take a month or two as they are using the 485 date for concurrent filers for some strange reason.

There is no putting of light or torch .. 1000 candle bulb..
All the thing we have to do is WAit ..Talk to lawyer and check the site BCIS.Thats all
