I worked for this prestigeous company (not anymore for me) for FOUR years.
I filed labor back in 2004 through the company attorney. The attorney left them in the middle. So, I don't know what happened to it, even now.
Filed another labor in 2005 through company's new attorney. Don't know what happened to it, either even now.
My colleague filed two labors and one of his approved labor he lent to me use as we had similar skills and experience.
After a long battle with the comany's management, I made them to file I-140 with the substitution labor. Within few weeks, INS sent communication but there were nobody at their Chicago address to receive it. So, the status still reads, even now as "returned as undelivered".
After long battle with the management, again, I made them to make my case premium. So, company's attorney sent check. INS returned it back saying, it cannot be applied as the case already approved. Later INS sent another communication, but there were nobody at their Chicago address to receive it. So, the status still reads, even now as "returned as undelivered".
Now, we know that I-140 approved. I am requesting this company to file I-485, but the company is refusing.
I insisted them, now the company (THE SMART CEO) says I am not with them anymore.
And my fault in this as they say, I do not have consistent billing for the entire FOUR year period. But when I made money, I really made money. I worked 80-20 with them. When I joined them back in Aug 2003, they promised a fast GC. Now the time to file the last stage, they are backing out. What could be their problem?

They do business over phone and I can't produce any proof. I do not have copies of approved labor (04/2004) and approval of I-140. I paid entirely for the two labor, one I-140, one H1B transfer and two H1B extensions.

Now, I have hardly have two months left in my eighth year of H1B extension. In addition to all these, I do not have a project and recent paychecks. And I am all confused what to do? I thank you in advance for any help/suggestion. This is also affecting my job hunt as I don't have an H1B employer to refer to Vendors for paperwork.

WHY DO THESE COMPANIES ARE SO ILL-MORAL AND UNETHICAL? AND THE CEO/MOST STAFF SPEAK MY MOTHER-TONGUE, TOO.

Some of the awards this Chatilly, VA based company has:

Smart CEO Award 2005-2006
Ranked #1 amongst IT Companies in INC 500 - 2006
MBDA Regional and National Award - 2006
Ranked #34 in the US by Deloitte & Touche Fast 500 - 2006
Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Greater Washington 2006 Finalist April 2006
NVTC Hot Tickets Award Finalist - Jun 2006
Silicon Valley Magazine recognition January 2006
Number Three (3) in Virginia by Deloitte & Touche Fast 50

In my situation,
I need to be worried about transferring and extending my H1B, right?!
Later, think about GC afresh.

Simple. Every immigrant wants to be the last immigrant in, and wants to shut the door tight once they are safely admitted.

Filing I-485

Guess you can file I-485 on your own and don't have to go thru the company. Yoy will need a copy of your approved I-140 though
