Steps involved in PERM Process

Hi,
Mine is a small company and is willing to start my PERM process. If anyone can layout the detailed step-by-step PERM process would be very helpful.

Mine job falls in EB2 category and I am located in CA. Basic steps that I am aware are:

1. Request Prewailing wages from SWA.
2. Run 2 advertisment in sunday newspaper ( with 2 weeks gap between ad's)
3. Post job notification at company.
4. Post job on online search.
5. Post job on company website.
6. Wiat for 30 days and complete PERM form and apply.

I am not sure at what step should we place the job order with SWA and which forms and what documentation is required in that.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi punupara,
You are almost right, everything is correct.
For SWA mostly attorney's office will open account for employer, of employer can open main account and sub account then they may give subaccount details to attorneys office.

To open SWA account, go to their website and register employer details like Tax id #, EIN, and some basic details of company.
If you are applying thru ur company and they are not aware of GC process ask them to hire a good Attorney.

The wait period is 30 days after SWA posting, keep in mind SWA job posting should stay for 30 days..so 30 days after SWA date ends.

Thanks for the reply, but are you sure that company has to open account with SWA, where as i was under impression that it was with PERM. Anyways I am planning to take following steps,

1. Apply for prewailing wages with SWA
2. Apply for job order with SWA (Form ETA 750 A and B)
3. Wait for 30 days
4. Run 2 news paper ads, online ad, company web site and emplyee referral.
5. Wait 30 days.
6. Apply for PERM using paper application.

Please guide me if my steps are ok.
Because company is small and owner himself has been through gren card process he does not want to hire an attroney and I do not want to push them for that as they might totally refuse to do the things.

Yes you are right, the orders are corrcect on the way what we do.....
If your compay is ok to support your GC and why don't you hire a attorney....
If you get any RFE...then you should know all the loopholes.
