Steps in GC processing and timelines

Hi,

I'm on an H1 VISA and my company is ready to process GC for me. What are the steps involved in NON-RIR route? How long does it take to get the Labor Cert?

Any ideas on the denial rate of RIR petitions?

Its all depends on what work you do, How is the industry & which state you are applying..

Time Frame

Also, the time involved depends upon which state you are in. The main steps in GC process are:

1. State Labor
2. Regional Labor
3. I140 (GC application with BCIS)
4. Adjustment of Status (I485) with BCIS or Consular Processing.
