Steps after the approval notice

Hi All,

On 06/28/2007 I received an approval notice for I485. The email/post said that please follow the instructions on the approval notice.

Has anybody experienced a situation like this. Can anybody guide me as to what would be the steps after the approval notice.

Probably FP...

... based on your signature, your FP / biometrics are expired. All the best!

You mean, u received the approval notice sent email for 485 case OR you received the actual approval notice by Post ??

I received approval notice sent email for my 485 case on June 28th, but still waiting to receive it by post.

Same here I received an email that my case has been approved but havent received physical mail yet.
 
Same here, I received the approval email on 06/28 but yet to receive the physical approval notice or cards....

Any one else who has received the copy of approval notice, please share your details. Thanks!

Your signature shows hat your FP2 was given in 2005. Was your 485 approved with an expired FP? It gives hope to many in the forum whose FPs were also expired but PDs were current.

I received another email today from CRIS that says 'card mailed'.
 
just want to share one more update.
I got today stayus chage as "Card Mailed"
In short .
June28th -- Card Production Ordered
JUne29th -- Approval Notice sent
July 3rd -- Card Mailed.

No physical evidence yet..
Please post your details as n how things progress.

Card production e-mail--6/29
Approval notice received through USPS--7/02/
Card mailed e-mail--7/03

My Approval notice was sent on june29th.
I'am hoping to get it today, but was not sure if will go to lawyer or to me.
 
i am hoping for approval email today,
btw do we need any passport stamping.
i know we shud change the SSN restrictions..but do we need passport stamp also?

Hi wonderguy,

I think you don't need to get stamping if you get the card. You need to go for stamping with approval notice only if you have not received the card and you have to travel outside of USA in the mean time.

by the by what is SSN restrictions ?? can you please give more details.

Here is my details:

Approval notice sent e-mail -6/29
LUD change with same old message - 6/30
LUD change with same old message - 7/03
LUD change with same old message - 7/05

No USPS mail yet.
I've filed for my wife in 2004 and her's is not approved yet. Anyone is approved along with wife's application?

Here is my detail:
7/5/2007: Card ordered notice - email received
LUD changed from 6/27-30/2007
RFE replied on 6/21/2007

Can anyone verify if this "Card ordered notice" email I just received is the actual approval?
Has this happen to anyone else?
Pls help!!

We do not have a lawyer. We did everything ourselves (husband and I), so we have been receving the correspondence.

I just checked my mails. :( NO mails even today.
God knows whats happening.
I spoke with IO today, he said on June 29th the request would have first gone to USCIS Mail room, then after they put it in envelope and mail it.
But even then I have seen in this forum people getting approval notice within 4 -5 days after sent.


Approval notice sent -- jUne29th
Card Mailed : July 3rd
Today I had LUD, god knows for what reason - July5th
 
I just checked my mail box and there they are finally.

Received approval notices and THE CARDS for both self and wife.

I think this is the end of my green card journey. Hope you all will receive your cards soon and praying GOD to do something so that everyone whose cases are still pending will get approvals soon.
