Staying in India for 6 months on Valid H1b??

Hello.
Thanks for reading this and thanks in advance for any answers you might have.

I have been in India since Dec 25th 2007 and plan to return back in late May or even after that. Would there be any issues when I would be entering back in US and do i need any documentation from my employer (a consulting company).

Please guide me.

Shoudn't have any issue, but letter from employer is always good.
