Folks - I got my Green Card an year ago and was waiting for my wife's follow-to-join to be approved. But its more than an year and still no hope of getting done. Now, what are the implications if i leave my job and go back to stay with my wife ? Any inputs ?

Maybe you can try life after Green Card Forum..

I have heard of people who went back for a year or two. I think you have to take some paper from INS. While coming back though, you will again have to look for jobs etc but maybe job scene would have improved by then..

LPRs has to apply for Re-entry permit before leaving USA

and need to maintain permanent status in US..

thru financial assests etc
