Stay limited on I 94 can i apply for extension

HI

i was granted the stay of 6 week and on my I 94 the officer has written stay limited but at the same time said you can apply for extension with the proves...... can i really apply for extension???

As long as there is no annotation of "NO COS" on the I-94.

rocky, the annotation should be "no EOS" (extension of stay), COS is change of status.
