My parents had their 2nd fingerprint set taken mid-December 2009 (for N-400). We discovered by calling FBI that fingerprints for one of my parents was declined a second time -- this means that they will need police clearance, although we never got a letter from USCIS about that. When we called the USCIS customer service subsequently, and they say that the case is in "interview queue" (and, yes, we will need police clearance).
But it has been almost 3 months since the 2nd fingerprints -- the status stil shows
as RFE , and no interview letter received yet.
Should we take an Infopass appointment?
On Infopass page, which option to use to take the appointment? None of the sub-options
for the option "You need Service on a case that has already been filed" seem appropriate for us.
Any suggestions will be much appreciated.
