guys I have a doubt.Probably someone can help me out in that..

I am in L1 now and planning to change to H1.
If I get my H1 on say 1st May.After getting H1 status, I resign my current employer A on that same day and join the next employer B on 15th may (after 2 weeks of notice). I will be in the payroll of new employer B from 15th May.
So between 1st may and 15th may I am under company A and under their payroll. So if i go for stamping later in future, can it be problem if they come to know that i was with A for 15 days even my H1 got approve before 15 days??
will that 15 days period come under out of status, if they know I was with A during that time?
But I cannot resign also, until I get my H1 approve. And I need to give atleast 2 weeks to my current employer.
So what u guys view on that ??

 That should not be a problem.

Anyway why do you want to do that? H1B allows the selection of a specific date you will start working for the sponsoring employer. By selecting May 15 as your H1B start date, and notifying your current employer on May 1, you can avoid this.

If I give May 15 as my H1B start date..

Does it mean that my H1 approves in 1st may itself and I am joining on 15th...Or does it mean that my H1 also approve on 15th itself..

But how will i come to kow the exact date when my H1 will approve. As I want to join 15 days after my H1 approve (the notice period basically). Whats ur suggestion on that..

Can I join before 15th also ?

If you go for premium processing, it is very much possible that you can start working for the prospective employer on May 1, 2005. It takes 3 to 4 weeks approx. to approve your H1B petition through premium processing.
Specifying the date you want to start working for the sponsoring employer would help me guide you better.

I cannot give my start date right now studious.. But I am planning to join the employer after 15 days of approving my premium H1, no matter which date it gets approve.
So in that case , do I need to assume the premium H1 approval date at the time of filling and based on that I hv to put start date after 15 days of approval?
