Status of Physical Green Card

My I-485 got approved on March 9th 2004.
Passport got stamped on May 4th 2004.
HAven't received the final card yet...

How do I check the status of the card? I am currently in Australia working on a project and am worried about the card.

You can check the status of the Card with the I-485 receipt number. It will tell you when the card is ordered and then mailed.
 
Mine was stamped on 5/11/2004 and haven't recd the card yet. Also online message didn't changed either. I guess just to have to wait and renew the stamp after a year if we dont receive the card :D
 
Mine was stamped on 5/15/04. My status also has not changed. I guess we may have to wait for some more time, may be 2 months. In most cases, I found that cards will be received within 6 months. I am optimistic. We need to make sure that we live in the same place atleast until we get the card. In fact, the lady who stamped my passport at Arlington suggested me to put a sticker of my name inside the mailboix so that the postman positively delivers the card.

How did you get your passport stamped before your I-485 was approved?
