Status of H4 while tranfering H1B

Hi,
Some advice that while my current employer applies for H1B extension for me, the extension has to be applied for H4 also

(once my wife is in US). Here is my question:

- what if another company transfers my H1B, do they have to tranfer H4 too like in the case of H1B extension?.

Please clarify.

If sufficient time is left in H4, there is no need to transfer H4 again. Do it when H4 is nearing expiration.
