status of h4 visa stamp after B1 or L1 visa stamping

Today I got my H4 visa stamping done at Chennai Consulate and I was planning to join my spouse in the next coming weeks as dependent. Now, my employer wants me to apply for a L1-b or B1 visa stamp by next week and wants me to work in US for a short time.
Now my concern is - will the US Visa consulate reject my current H4 visa stamping at the time of issuing a new L1 or B1 visa stamp in my passport.
Also for some reason, if my L1 visa stamp request gets denied will they also cancel my current H4 visa stamping as well.

Occasionally consultate issue both visa to gether. So need not worry . go and apply L1.
