Question for you:
Did U contact senator?

Secondly- I received RFE, but no 2nd FP. Is it common or shall I expect my 2nd FP, may be 3 months from today and then approval 4 months after that.
Since you have been doing a lot of surveys and stuff, thought can guess better.
I know that no theories work, but pls suggest based on experience and observations.

I have not contacted any senator.

With respect your case, since your FP1 is expired , I would be very surprised (though will be happy for you) if your approval is sent without FP2.

I think your current focus should be on getting the FP2 notice by pursuing various avenues with senator/CIS.

Once you have done your FP2 and if they update the website with your FP2 results there is high probabilty that your approval will be sent sooner than later.

In the past people have received approvals between 2 to 4 months from the FP2 (provided all types of backgroud checks are completed).

I have already contacted senator 4 times. All the time the reply was that 2nd FP would be issued in 30-60 days, but 4th reply: RFE has been issued. Still no 2nd FP.
I would again contact senator 5th time and lets see if 2nd FP comes this time.
Yes, I also feel that without 2nd FP, approval is impossible. If you ask me, I also don't see getting approved atleast another 5-6 months based on the observation that its takes a hell lot of time for the RFE to be replied, Updated, receiving 2nd FP, doing 2nd FP, updating FP on website and then approval.
