Status if H4 uses EAD

Hello All,
I am on H1B and have a valid EAD but not using the EAD. My wife wants to use her EAD in the near future. ( We applied for I 485 at NSC 10 months back and I am the primary applicant and she is dependent on H4 Visa). My questions are:

1. What is my status if uses her EAD?
2. If uses her EAD, and down the road if loose my job then, can she still work using her EAD?

---- if she uses EAD no effect on your H1B status you will be on H1 but her status will not be H4 if she uses EAD, If YOU H1B holder uses EAD you both will be on AOS pending and will need AP to reenter US
2. If uses her EAD, and down the road if loose my job then, can she still work using her EAD?

*** even after using the EAD if she want to be on H4 status she should exit US and enter on H4 she will get I-94 with H4( she need to have Valid H4 visa stamp in passport)
