Hello everybody, thanks for your help.
Here is my case: I am attending an English course until next week. Then I will transfer to an MBA program (until December 2006), so they will get me news I-20 forms for me and for my wife. Ours F-1 and F-2 Visas, expires next August 2005, however they told me I won't have problem unless I leave the country.
My wife wants to study english, in a full-time program. Thus, she needs to change her status from F-2 to F-1. She is planning to study for six months starting next October. After that she needs to change her status again to F-2, in order to remain here in the U.S with me, until I finish my studies.
Please, I need your advice, when is the best time to apply for this change of status, what documents (besides I-539) does she need?
Thanks.
