I'm a dependent case and my family members' were approved last aug. 27 and now have their green cards. Mine was delayed but approved on sep. 17; although this was an email notification and also displayed on the case status online page.
on oct 6. i received another email saying the INS has responded to an inquiry we made. so this pretty much overwrites the status page. So up to now i haven't received anything from the INS - approval notice mail nor the inquiry response.
Any thoughts or reason for this mix up? it seems a bit foul that my family's cases were approved except mine. Hope someone could dispel this confusion and enlighten me somehow.
