What's the statue of limitation on marriage fraud done for immigration benefits? I am only talking about criminal prosecution, not revoking citizenship or revoking green card obtained via such a marriage.
I read that all immigration fraud has 10-year statue of limitation (I am only talking about criminal prosecution -- not deportation and revoking citizenship). Is this correct?
Also, recently, I remember reading a case where the marriage occured in 1984. Huh? Why didn't the defense raise the question about statue of limitation.
