Apparently there are so many reasons why certain cases may be processed early that it is hard to say. The only thing to assume is that they ARE processing, albeit slowly, and that there does not appear to be a freeze.
ImmigrationUSA is using an Excel macro script (I assume) to automate this process. The very first step is to pick up ALL the 485 filings for one particular day, say LIN02-041. This means the range could be from 50000 to 59999. Of course most of the filings are not 485's. This takes a few days if you don't use a proxy server due to BCIS's daily access limit from one IP address. Once this step is done, next run will be much quicker by checking only those 485 LIN's that were picked up. The data collected is meaningless if the data range is small like you suggested; it's a BIG possibility that there is only one 485 case (yours) to show up.
If you are interested in creating statistical data for LIN02-041 by yourself, you can find this Excel spreadsheet somewhere in this thread or in another thread titled "Greenland report ..."
Thanks for your quick reply on this Saturday weekend. The on-line message or the voice mail has never changed since my first FP back in 1/02. Wrote INS few times regarding Status and also called the NSC (when they were talking the calls) but never had a sold satisfactory answer. While other cases got approved (even they were filed after me) -mine certainly have not and wondering if they have lost my file or something in that nature. In this uncertain economy I am not quite sure how long can I hold the current job.
Anyway, wish me luck and thanks for your reply again.
ImmigrationUSA, I put together a Greenland Summary report and would find it useful if I could put your stats into the report. If you are happy with that, could you please post a zipped file of LIN # for LIN-081. I will then run the stats and post the results when I get them. Eventually
