I ran the script for ND 150. It looks like there are no cases after LIN0215056575.
About 500 out of that 6500 applications are I-485 cases. That is, less than 10% is the I-485 on this day.

The attached file is the list of I-485 cases.
 
Interesting.. You should consider posting this information in the 'greenland report' thread. Folks seem to be using that thread to divide up the ND range so that the script can be run on as many NDs as possible. Once the results are available for a range of NDs, it would be possible to make reasonable inferences about this 'black box' operation that the INS seems to be running.

This has the potential of becoming tasty fodder for any statistics experts out there. One can perhaps apply an appropriate probability density function to the results to arrive at intelligent conclusions without having to necessarily cover all possible ND combinations.

I have a question.
Does this script run based on the online status, because I guess this if NSC doesn't update online message even if the case is approved or changed the status, then our script may not pick up the LIN#.
Does my question make any sense.:(
 
This script picks up whatever BCIS's status check page says.
So if the status is not updated on the page, it is not picked up.
Moreover, some of the status in the excel file I just posted yesterday was a bit old. But once we know the numbers it's a lot easier to check it. I just would like to share some info.

I hope we can have a better insight (not speculation) about what is going on at BCIS once we get more data.

I'm a part time student. So I use the computers in a computer lab:D :D :D

Waiting too long for this AOS process is really a financial burden for me.

immigrationusa, have they changed the

format of the approval online notice. now it directly says:

" CARD HAS BEEN ORDERED " ,
wasn't it used to be there used to be two steps one for approval and one for card ordered. I wondered they were just card ordered and were already approved before. Please check and verify.

How to figure out ND from LIN Number

Guys!
Great thread but to someone like me who cannot figure out connection between LIN and RD to save his life, this is all latin
Can some exprets please advise

LINXXYYYZZZZZ refers to XX year's YYYth working day (Not calendar day). ZZZZZ is ur individual case on that day. Working day count starts on Oct 1st of year previous to XX year.

So, LIN02040 would refer to 40th working day after Oct 1, 2001 (Somewhere last week of Nov 2001)

I think you have collected statistics for LIN02081 because either you or someone you know have the reciept number in this series.
Just confirm whether those who have LIN02081 series reciept have ND as Jan 21, 2002.

Does that mean Dec 2001 and Jan 2002 RD cases have begun to see the light of day?

stated in the post. They are for LIN 02-191. What made you assume that they were for the LINs that you mentioned?

But does this now mean NSC is processing May 2002 cases (RD)
Certainly thats good news after the online status still shows aug 22
