The unskilled worker category in EB-3 can experience retrogression depending on the rate of increase of cases in this category for the next one year. It predicts that even if retrogression takes place for this category, it is not likely that it will happen before the next Summer. One small good news!

State department wants to assure that the situation will not worsen. At this stage, we need assurance of improvement; not prediction of non-deterioration.

I went through the entire post. It also says " For the employment-based immigrant categories, it predicts that there will be no retrogression".

Employment -based cases are almost standstill. Does it mean it continues to be so ?
