Hi All,

I have been in US for 3 and half yrs on H1 and now my company is going to start my green card.
My company's head quater is in Arizona(AZ) and I'm working in Washington DC.We also have office in Maryland(MD) and I may move to MD office in couple of months.
So my question is where should I start my LCA ?
I know DC is damn slow then MD and then AZ. But again in case of AZ federal goes to San Francisco zone which is very slow as comapre to Philadelphia.

Please suggest me on this matter .....

Thank you very much.

better file your Labor/Gc process from your company head quarters rather than branch office, may be we dont know after sometime BCIS may change the policy or laws
its best bet to file from headquarters
consult your attorney who is going to file your case
all the best

Thanks Verant123.
My lawyer said to file from where I work,i.e. DC.
But I'm still not sure what to do.
In general getting labor approval is more important or getting EAD is more imporatnt after LC ofcourse.
I'm asking because if I get marry and my wife comes on H4 then sooner getting EAD would be better in order to get her work permit.

Any feedback is most welcome.
thanks

Apply from AZ or MD if possible.. AZ cases are going to SF regional but getting processed faster then California Cases. As of today SF regional processing California RIR - Jan 03 while the current processing date for other western state (including AZ) is OCT 03...

Generally, as per my lawyer, if you are not a travelling consultant, they will file from the state where you work., not where your company is headquartered. I am sure there is a way around this...but my lawyer does not know it.
