Starting a common petition to deal with San Jose N400 woes !!

San Jose is **very** slow compared to most DOs and especially even SF is much faster. April applicants are getting interviews now at SF.

There had been a BIG batch of GC approvals in SJ area 5/6 years back who are all applying now for USC.

We should contact our local Congress-persons to get BCIS to catchup on the processing time.

How about starting a common petition to our Congressmen ( say a few 100 folks who are eligible) who demand what is legitimately due to us( timely service)?

If they take so much fees/ taxes, they must provide proportional service, right?

All other DOs are much faster ( unless you are stuck in background check woes)...
 
This delay is temporary and I think you should just wait it out. The increase is part of a cyclical process and eventually the wait time will reduce. We are a little unlucky in this but at least we can work and travel freely unlike people without PR.
