Hi all,

I am one of the few with RFE but expired FP. I did read of a couple of such cases here over a week ago. However, I don't think this is a large group

So those of you who are in this category let's monitor our numbers.

My details

I-485 RD 02/19/2002
ND 03/11/2002
FP 06/20/2002 (expired)
RFE (EVL) 10/27/2003
RFE response received by USCIS 11/21/2003

AD ???

I called up the USCIS IIO on 12/31/2003 and the IIO could not give any definitive answer. All she said was I could write a letter to USCIS after 60 days (since 11/21/2003) have passed. I am also thinking of writing to a senator / congressman.

Please list your experience.

Thanks

Your file seems to have been reviewed (and RFE response received by INS) before your FP expired. I am not sure you would need a second FP in this situation. On the other hand, maybe by updating your address (refer your other thread), a second FP notice will be forthcoming?:)

Nothing happened even after change of address

I changed the address on July 5th and informed CIS on July 10th.
I do not know the logic when something happens (change of address etc) in your case then an event triggers (RFE,FP etc.).
Also i do not know whether I need 2nd FP in this case. Man, I am totally in dark.

:( :(

I was in the same sitution. I contaced the congressman. I got the FP notice a month after. I'm not sure what did the trick. You may contact your local congressman for 2nd FP.

RD 03/08/02 ND 03/28/02 2nd FP 12/10/02

Contacting Congressmen / Senator for 2nd FP

Hi reliance,

Do you contact the Senator/ Congressman as a private individual or as an employee of a company? I am asking b'cos what if the company does not write a letter on my behalf.

Thanks
