Hi,
I saw the post of "Starting up a business as an IBO" and understand it failry well.
However, what if I have authorization from my employer to get the business up and running, be a silent partner (no profits etc) and have a US Citizen be the 'Owner' of the company?
I will be 'volunteering' time for support/maintenance/etc., but receive no compensation whatsoever until I have my GC.
The funds will go into a 'joint' account which I will have access to once I get the GC.
Or would it simply be easier to get someone (family/friend) in my home country to start it there and I just run with it here part-time, with proper authorization from my employer?
Looking forward to responses
