Start date on H1 approval

I have a question about the start date on my H1 approval notice. I started working for a company on 08/01/2005. They applied for regular H1. I received the approval and even visited my home country with it in Nov, 2005 (didnt get my visa stamped since I had a valid visa)

I had failed to notice that the dates on the approval notice says "Valid from 09/20/2005 to 07/24/2008". I have now changed employers and am going for visa stamping with a new H1 approval. Anyone knows why the anamoly in the start date of my previous petition? Is this something I need to worry about?

Hi guys. I forgot to add that the

Receipt date on the approval says July 13, 2005 and
Notice date says September 21, 2005

DIdnt' your employer ask for that employment period on LCA ?
