Start date for H1B transfer

Hello,

Can any body tell how soon one can start working for the New Company once we send doc's to USCIS for transfer.

Do we need to wait for receipt# ?
- or -
Once we get the Mail delivery confirmatoin that Doc's have been reached to USCIS.?

Pl let me know.

safer to wait for receipt notice as it is physical evidence that your transfer is received.

1) What if the current employer revoke the H1B once we get the Receipt# with new Employer. Is it still valid..??

If your transfer was filed before current employer revokes it, your transfer is valid.
