Stamping questions

Hello everyone,
   I will be going to stamp my passport to INS tomorrow(Tuesday)
In my I-485 approval notice it says to goto Los Angeles downtown
office.But I have read that we could goto other INS offices such as Santa Ana office,etc which will be quick and easy.
1. Please let me know could we goto Santa Ana office.
2. How early we should go in the morning?
3. Can we take our 4 year old child with us?

you can go to Santa Ana. I did today and we came out in an hour or so. Its easy no queues less hassles

posts by amburan and pump. They did their stamping at Santa Ana and posted their detailed experiences about a month back. That should give you information on what time to go and what to expect.
